ipolog 4 Workspace: Module Bar

Workspace Modulleiste Module Bar Symbolleiste Background Color Hide Show

The module bar shows all functions for working with ipolog 4 Workspace. If you move the cursor over an icon, the name of the view is displayed to the left of the central module bar.

Project View

1 Projectview.png You can open up the project view via "Open Project View". Your currently opened planning space will remain opened in the background until you either select another planning space, or select the "Return to scenario" button in the top left corner to return to it.

File Menu

2 FileMenu.png In the File Menu of ipolog 4 Workspace you can export various data from your project, edit the project or adjust settings. Find out more here: File Menu.

Master Data

3 SzenarioAdmin.png The Scenario Admin module can be used to export data from your project and import other data to it. This includes, for example, the layout, assembly processes and the production program. Find out more here: Scenario admin.
4 Catalog.png This icon opens the Catalog. There you will find the loading carriers, racks, facilities and products. More about this here: Catalog.
5 Facilities_WS.png This is where the Facilities can be found: building parts, furniture, surrounding areas, etc. These can also be moved and hidden. You can also change whether the facilities should also act as a blocking area.
6 logging.png This is the Logging. It is an error log that tells you exactly what problems exist.

Planning Tools

7 mceclip3.png New areas, stations and worker points can be created and moved in the Layout Editor. You can find more information here.
8 mceclip4.png The Material Zone Editor allows you to move and select individual materials and shelves on the material surfaces. For more information, see the article about the Material Zone Editor.
9 mceclip8.png The Conveyor Editor is a tool to define the movement profile of product conveyance per station. You can find more info here.
10 mceclip1.png The Production Program specifies how many products of each variant are built and in what order.
11 mceclip2.png The Production Flow View allows to load/reference the planning result of another scenario from another project into the currently opened scenario.
12 mceclip3.png The Rack Planogram shows the racks, their layout and the individual bin placements. You can find more information here.
13 mceclip4.png The Assembly Process Editor displays the existing process information in tabular form. By changing certain parameters, the execution of the processes can be changed.
14 mceclip5.png The Material Provisioning Editor shows all processes in detail. These can also be adjusted directly here (worker, material, work points,...). You can find more information here.
15 mceclip9.png The Worker Gantt shows the processes of each worker and offers the possibility to move them. This is essential for process optimization. You can find more information here.
16 mceclip7.png The TagList Editor offers the possibility to locate working points and areas in the layout and to change their nature.

Animation Control

Detailed Info

19 mceclip11.png The Filter Set shows a selected display of individual workers and products. You can find more information here.

Analysis

20 mceclip12.png The Colorizer provides a good overview of the assembly line. It visualizes in color, for example, which worker picks up which material or which material is assigned to which product.
21 mceclip13.png Reporting provides an overview of complete worker utilization, as well as productive and non-productive time and walking distances.
22 mceclip14.png Time Distance Diagram displays the time-distance relationship of a worker's activities.

25 Plugins.png Plugins allows you to connect to CAD programs or import 3D data.

Planning Space Functions Bar

Funktionsleiste_Close.png Close closes the planning area and returns to the project view.
Funktionsleiste_Save.png Save saves the current progress.
Funktionsleiste_Savenpublish.png Save & Publish saves the current progress and synchronizes the changes made in the project with the scenario.
Funktionsleiste_Updatepartdata.png Update Part Data updates the part data state in the planning space with the state from the scenario.
Funktionsleiste_FV.png Open in Factory Viewer opens your project in the ipolog Factory Viewer. More about this here: ipolog Factory Viewer.
Funktionsleiste_UndoRedo.png Undo/Redo/Undo history lets you discard and restore the last change made or view the change history.
