In transport simulation, the corresponding empties transport orders are calculated for assigned disposal chains. The calculation is analogous to the calculation of transport orders and is structured as follows:
Given: Minimum amount of empties ≤ Empties Stock ≤ Maximum amount of empties
In order to determine the earliest/latest collection time, the transport time as well as the loading and unloading time must be added.
Example:
- Min. amount of empties= 1
- Max. amount of empties = 1
- Transport quantity = 1
- Parts per container = 10
- Starting stock = 10
- Start of production: 10:00 a.m.
- Consumption: 1 part / minute
- Sum of driving / loading / unloading times: 5 min.
This results in (without travel and loading times):
- Earliest collection time: 10:09 a.m.
- Latest collection time: 10:19 a.m.
With driving and loading times (total: 5 minutes) this results in
- Earliest collection time: 10:14 a.m.
- Latest collection time: 10:24 a.m.
The calculated empties transport orders are visible both in the order list and in the transport Gantt. Empties that are transported due to a container exchange are not calculated according to this principle and therefore do not receive a separate order. This empties transport is carried out directly after the respective full product transport.
